* gnu/packages/virtualization.scm (qemu)[source]: Adjust snippet to remove bundled rust crates. [arguments]: Adjust configure-flags to build with rust when rust is in the build environment. Add a phase when rust is available to make the build system use the packaged rust crates. [native-inputs]: When building with rust add rust, rust-bindgen-cli, cargo-inputs qemu, and the cross-compiler for rust when needed. * gnu/packages/rust-crates.scm (qemu): New entry. This commit was made by running this command: sed -e's/substitute-keyword-arguments (package-arguments [a-zA-Z0-9-]\+)/substitute-keyword-arguments arguments/g' -i gnu/packages/*.scm … and then: 1. reverting changes from ‘gnu/packages/rust.scm’ and ‘gnu/packages/java.scm’ since they would incur derivation changes and/or breakage; 2. reverting the change for ‘gcc-final’ in ‘gnu/packages/commencement.scm’; 3. reverting the change for ‘onnx-optimizer’, ‘openquest’, and ‘certbot’, which use ‘substitute-keyword-arguments’ for arguments that are not inherited (and thus ‘arguments’ would be unbound); 4. reverting the change for ‘insight-toolkit-legacy’ and ‘wine64-staging’ which make bogus assumptions about inherited arguments. Python bindings for libxml2 are now built as part of libxml2; remove all python-libxml2 inputs for libxml2 (nearly all already had libxml2) and deprecate the package. This was done manually using git grep python-libxml2 gnu/packages to find affected packages and then check all their input fields. With the update to libxml2, we can remove all the libxml2-next* variants. This change was automated with: git grep -rl libxml2-next | xargs sed -i 's/\(libxml2-next\|libxml2-next-for-grafting\)/libxml2/g' * gnu/packages/xml.scm (libxml2): Update to 2.14.6.
